Cell-based therapies and regenerative medicine have been representing promising approaches to skin regeneration during recent years. By inspiration from these advances, several types of stem cell skincares have been developed to target skin issues such as aging. Currently, there are two major types of stem cell-based skincare products – plant and human. It is impossible to incorporate live stem cells into a skincare product. Instead, these products are formulated with extracts of these cells or factors secreted from them.
Stem cells are a class of undifferentiated cells that have the unique capacity to continually renew and differentiate into specialized cell types. Commonly, stem cells can be obtained from embryos, fetus, or adult tissues.
Plant stem cells, like human stem cells, have the ability to self-renew and secrete growth factors, cytokines, and other proteins; however, these factors do not have the ability to stimulate signalling pathways in human cells, as human stem cell factors do. For that reason, in skincare, plant stem cell derivatives are primarily formulated in conjunction with other active molecules or peptides to provide better improvements in the skin. On the other hand, the signaling molecules that human stem cells secrete are compatible with signalling pathways in our skin; therefore, when delivered transdermally, they can communicate directly with the skin cells and stimulate the skin to regenerate.
Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are adult stem cells that are multipotent and can differentiate into a variety of cell types. Throughout our lives, MSCs conduct tissue repair or regeneration. However, as MSCs differentiate into other types of cells as we age, the population of tissue MSCs decreases; therefore, tissue regeneration slows over
Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are adult stem cells that are multipotent and can differentiate into a variety of cell types. Throughout our lives, MSCs conduct tissue repair or regeneration. However, as MSCs differentiate into other types of cells as we age, the population of tissue MSCs decreases; therefore, tissue regeneration slows over time. There is considerable amount of published scientific data that verifies the role of MSC-derived factors in the repair and rejuvenation of skin.
Our stem cell skincare system harnesses the power of human stem cell factors secreted in the enriched conditioned medium of the human Adipose Derived Stem Cell (ADSCs). Freshly isolated ADSCs are cultured in appropriate growth medium, free of animal derived ingredients. After a period of incubation at proper atmosphere, the conditioned medium from these cells is collected and concentrated to be used in our products. The conditioned medium is enriched with molecules which are a highly-potent source of skin regenerative factors. These factors stimulate both migration of dermal fibroblasts as well as collagen and elastin synthesis to improve the appearance of wrinkles and accelerating the healing process of skin.
The source of stock ADSCs used for skincare purposes must be adequately screened for diseases prior to culture. ADSCs can also be tested for the presence of viral particles through molecular techniques to verify the screening results.
Derivatives from ADSCs are safe and effective as they are natural proteins of our bodies. Depending on the source and production, these factors are allowed by the Health Canada and FDA to be used in cosmetics as “Human Adipose Stromal Cell Conditioned Media Extract”.
To ensure the delivery of these stem cell factors, we encapsulate them inside nano- and microparticles formed from lipid molecules, which also guarantee that the proteins remain active in our formulations. Additionally, for our skincare professional products, we recommend medical delivery devices such as microneedles, to increase the efficacy of delivery, but without penetrating the skin deeply enough to cause the patient any pain or bleeding.
When effectively delivered, these stem cell factors alone can deliver what promised. Therefore, we believe a simple yet effective formulation, with the encapsulated stem cell factors being the main active ingredients, along with complementary ingredients and proper biomaterial polymers and preservatives can be the ultimate solution to counteract the signs of skin aging.
Our stem cell products are offered in two types of formulations:
1. General Formulas:
2. Precision Formulas:

Our dual rejuvenating system employs Liposomal Stem Cell Factors or SCF Complex, which are designed and intended for administration by skincare professionals, and the post treatment Stem Cell Regenerative Serum to rejuvenate the look of aging skin as an all-inclusive formulation. The dual system provides both immediate and longterm improvements in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, skin tone, texture and firmness, and restoring skin’s protective moisture barrier. Such combination therapy can provide skincare professionals with a comprehensive approach to enhance skin rejuvenation outcomes and guarantee patient satisfaction.
